There was a nice little surprise waiting for me when I came home from running Errands Friday morning: Shari’s Berries!
They happened to come on a day that my parents would be joining us for dinner and made the perfect dessert since Hubs and I are doing Paleo and Mom and Dad are doing South Beach. Did I wait until dinnertime to sample a dark chocolate covered strawberry? What do you think after looking at these?
The berries arrived fresh and presented perfectly. The above photo of the berries was taken in their box immediately after I removed the lid.
Sweet T is never far away when there’s chocolate around so she was happy to help me sample these Full Dozen Hand-Dipped All Dark Strawberries. When you haven’t gotten out of your pajamas or left the house in a few days due to a cold, there’s nothing like chocolate for a pick-me-up! We start young, don’t we ladies?
When I think of chocolate-dipped strawberries, I usually envision the berries only half coated in chocolate. It was a pleasure to have berries completely dipped so we could enjoy maximum chocolatey goodness. My favorite were the dark chocolate dipped with chopped almonds. That little bit of crunch just makes my day. Shari’s Berries carries lots of other treats besides chocolate dipped berries. I’d like to order some of their dark chocolate espresso bark for Hubs as a special treat.
For Sweet T though, I’m not sure it could get any better than the berries!
