Life with a newborn can be rough. The sleep deprivation is what gets to me the most so I’m always open for creative ways to keep a newborn happy. Traditional swings and bouncers are great (and believe me we plan to use both!) but InGenuity presents a unique way to sooth infants ages 0-6 months: with a sway action rather than a swinging action.

Besides the side-to-side sway motion, I think my favorite feature has to be the AC electric source. No worries about dead batteries with a baby who needs to be soothed ASAP. For flexibility there is a battery option though in case you need to move the Sway Seat to an area where an outlet isn’t close enough. I also appreciate the gender-neutral color scheme that is sure to go with any home decor.

I hope our new baby spends many contented hours in the Cozy Coo! Look for an update in September with video of our little one enjoying it (and Mommy enjoying some peace and quiet).
