Carter’s Just One You Bright Dots Travel Swing Review

As first-time parents we were a tiny bit clueless about how difficult it can be to keep a newborn happy. Sweet T is a compliant, sweet toddler but was a high-maintenance infant! We quickly realized we had to have a baby swing even if I wasn’t jazzed about taking up more space in our small home. This time around I don’t care if there’s not a clear path to the bathroom for all the baby gadgets! Whatever keeps baby happy. Fortunately thanks to Summer Infant we’ll be enjoying a Carter’s Just One You Bright Dots Travel Swing with baby #2. It’s so compact we won’t have to worry about tripping over in during a midnight feed.

I love how easily and compactly the swing folds up for travel. It will easily fit in the trunk or backseat of a small car so you can keep baby happy away from home.

The swing is lightweight and so simple to carry from room-to-room without even folding it first. This Carter’s Travel Swing will be what allows me to get a shower during the first few months! I love that it will fit in the bathroom so I can keep an eye on the newcomer and have clean hair. ;)

The seat pad is easily removed from the frame to throw in the wash when you need to. No wrestling it off, deciding it just isn’t worth it and spot-cleaning it instead. Yes, that was a confession.

Plus, it’s cute! I love that they created a unisex design that isn’t “blah.”

See below for a few seconds of the swing in action. It’s on the highest of the three speeds and playing tune #3 of 7.

Here’s the complete list of specs for the swing:

  • Cradling seat pad with adorable embroidery
  • 7 songs to help soothe baby
  • 3 swing speeds, automatically shut off after 30 minutes
  • 5 point harness
  • 2 position seat
  • Pivoting toybar with 2 soft toys
  • Folds for travel & storage

Stay tuned this fall for a follow-up video with baby #2 using the swing!
